SEN Provision
SEN Unit on site
A dedicated unit within a mainstream school for pupils with specific special educational needs. Pupils typically spend some time in mainstream classes and some in the unit.
Resourced provision
A designated number of places (resourced places) for pupils with a specific type of SEN, such as hearing impairment or autism. Unlike a SEN unit, pupils are mostly taught in mainstream classes with additional targeted support.
